Meet our founder

With a passion for exploration and an eye for beauty, Emily founded Peregrin in Massachusetts to connect artisans with new markets. Inspired by handcrafted goods from both near and far, she set out to create a curated home for meaningful, well-made pieces.

After years in corporate retail, Emily saw how modern supply chains often exploit makers in the rat race for the lowest prices. Peregrin was created to do the opposite by building equity for artisans, supporting entrepreneurship, and preserving cultural craft traditions through thoughtful commerce.

Drawing inspiration from her travels and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Emily has curated a collection that reflects her eclectic taste and dedication to quality. Each item at Peregrin is handpicked with care, reflecting Emily's commitment to quality, storytelling, and celebrating heritage craftsmanship.

Peregrin is available to shop at Main Street Marketplace, located at 23 Main Street in Amesbury, Massachusetts. There you will find some classic favorites, as well as some items unique to Marketplace!
