Greco Momo Blanket

This Momo blanket is a Mayan heritage heirloom. The design was pulled from the archives during our visit to Antigua, Guatemala and remade just for Peregrin. The monochromatic wave pattern is a sophisticated, yet subtle way to add coastal style to an East Coast home.

Momo blankets come to us from Momostenango, Guatemala. Located in the Central Highlands, the volcanic environment makes these blankets unique to anywhere else in the world. Woven first, then taken to pools of geothermal heated water. There, these blankets are felted to create a soft, fuzzy finish.

Wool sourced from domestic sheep and dyed in country. A little rough at first, these blankets soften with use.
