The Owl Alebrije from the Jimenez Family's "Frenemies" collection showcases the vibrant artistry of traditional Mexican alebrijes.

 Originating in Oaxaca, alebrijes are imaginative creatures crafted from copal wood, hand-carved, and meticulously painted with vivid colors and detailed patterns. The technique involves layering bright pigments to bring mythical beings to life, representing spiritual guides or fantastical animals.

This owl captures the essence of the alebrije tradition through its dynamic colors and intricate designs, reflecting both cultural heritage and masterful craftsmanship.

Custom made as a part of Peregrin's Halloween collection for 2025, the Frenemies collection features owls and mice, each character with their own whimsical name.

Each piece is signed by the artisan.
